Shake, shimmy and groove to the soulful rhythms of Africa, led by Moringa Dance director Jenny Bloomfield and accompanied with live drumming by Simon Elwell of Djembe NZ & the Kubatana crew. You will be guided through a warm up, learn some choreography, then put it together with the music for a fun, high energy experience, followed by a relaxing stretch!
Please do not book for class or attend class if you are at all unwell!
Remember to scan in!
I also keep contact tracing details and attendance records.
*We are unable to use Te Whaea at any COVID alert level above level 1 due to their policies for external hires. Our backup location in case the alert level goes up to level 2 is Toitu Poneke, 49 Kilbirnie Crescent, Kilbirnie.*
There are a number of safety and hygiene considerations we are committed to as part of re-opening to enable contact tracing and cleanliness, so if we are in COVID alert levels higher than level 1, after booking, usually on the day of class, you will receive an email with details about how it is all going to work. Please read carefully and comply for our collective well-being and safety :).
