West African Drum & Dance Workshops w/ Koffie Fugah (Ghana/NZ), 9 -10 August 2025
Master Drummer & Dancer from Ghana, Robert Koffie Fugah, is coming back to Wellington! WOOT! Koffie is the leader of Kadodo Music, an expert facilitator who will get everyone rocking, make beginners feel very comfortable and confident, and at the same time challenge experienced students! Koffie is a true artist in the way he leads groups, nobody gets left behind and everyone leaves with a smile on their face!
Don't miss out on this exciting chance to work with a master teacher who has a gift for making it fun and getting everyone playing and dancing beautifully together.
All are welcome, NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY, and drums are provided!
These workshops are very inclusive and will meet you where you are at for all levels and beginners are welcome, the classes labelled intermediate and open will be a little more challenging, but all are very welcome to join in and give it a go as long as you don't mind a challenge!
This is an awesome opportunity to learn from Koffie! He is brimming with positive energy and passion for his art, and knows how to have fun!
