This group is run by Moringa director and registered Dance Movement Therapist, Jenny Bloomfield, with the support of Sylvie Smith, local dancers and M-DMT student from University of Auckland as a placement.

Dance movement therapy incorporates the therapeutic and creative elements of dance to support wellbeing. These classes are for anyone who wants to experience the joy of movement in a stimulating, supportive and non-judgmental space. No previous movement experience is required. Individuals are invited to move together at their own pace. Find comfort in your body. Release tension. Grow your potential for movement and self-expression. Explore rhythms and create new forms of connection. Sessions will include a gentle warm-up, guided movement exploration, and closure.
